Getaround now has a vibrant new look. We redesigned our logo to reflect the energy, momentum, and values that drive us and our valued customers forward every day.
Don’t worry—we’re still purple! However, you may notice a slight difference in the hue that we have lovingly dubbed “Getaround Purple.”

* For owners, you will soon be able to see your estimated earnings for the current month under the Reservations view, and your Earnings Reports for previous months under the new Earnings view.
* Non-US renters now have a streamlined way to get approved on Getaround
* For owners, you can now unlock your car from your phone's home screen, with a single tap, by using the new Getaround Widget. Our tap scientists are hard at work trying to reduce this to zero taps, but keep complaining that it's "impossible" or "doesn't make sense".
* Lots of bugfixes. Spinners that spun too much, dialogs which wouldn't go away, better internal reporting when things go wrong. That sort of thing.
* To protect your privacy, we no longer share real phone numbers between Owners and Renters. You can still call and text one another up to 24 hours after a trip, but a masked number is used instead.
* Lots of tiny bugfixes. And we mean tiny. Like renaming "zip code" to "post code" for non-US addresses. Minuscule stuff.
